The Area Based Development Research Journal looks forward to continued collaboration with scholars and community-based researchers in advancing high-quality, area-based collaborative research for community development and social engagement. To enhance academic rigor, transparency, and international compatibility, starting in 2026, all manuscripts submitted to the journal must include a clear Author Contributions statement in accordance with the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy).

Authors are required to specify individual contributions—such as conceptualization, methodology, data curation, analysis, writing, and supervision—to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical authorship practices in line with international publishing standards.These updates reflect the journal’s ongoing commitment to research integrity, clarity of scholarly communication, and alignment with global academic norms.
