Vol. 17 No. 3 July - September 2025

As illustrated in the articles published in this issue, contributions from academic institutions in Phatthalung, Uttaradit, and Ubon Ratchathani provinces through social engagement showcase a wide variety of community products—ranging from food and fabric to handicrafts and even art toys. Beyond the tangible economic value these products generate, each stage of the process also carries intangible worth. It involves the integration of traditional wisdom and local identity with modern disciplines, requiring the application of production technologies, quality measurement and control, design, and marketing.

This integration presents both academic challenges and opportunities to expand the practical use of knowledge. Alongside these tangible outcomes, an equally important achievement is the development of human and social capital, which serves as a key driver toward sustainable development.
